Milky Way over the Mountains

Let's do Milky Way the right way! Friday night will be mostly clear, let's meet at a small lake in the White Mountains to get the Milky Way arch over the mountains.

Bring your fastest and widest lenses, at least an aperture of f/2.8, better less (2.0, 1.8, 1.4...), tripod, remote control or intervalometer. We can photograph the Milky Way, star trails, maybe a timelapse. Or bring a long lens and tracker for deep space photography, it'll be dark. A Class 3 area.

Please be on time and check in with the group at the end of the parking lot. Do not venture out on your own. If you are late, text me, so we won't have to wait for you.
