Challenge: Holiday Lights 2025
Details
It's that time of year again: Here's our annual Challenge.
Show us your Holiday lights, your town's lighting, or whatever lit decorations catch your eye.
Show us detail, the grand view or anything in between.
ICM, Controlled Zooms, double exposures, anything goes.
If you have snow, and you want snow streaks, you need a light source such as holiday lights. You can also light snow at an angle with a flashlight. Use a high ISO and a short exposure, something in the 1.5-3.6 second range, depending on how much ambient light you have. This will take a little trial and error. See the example below.
Start shooting now, upload as you go, and comment on each other's images.
