93% Partial Lunar Eclipse
Details
This will be a late night to early morning event. We will be witnessing 93% partial lunar eclipse. This eclipse will not be total anywhere, we are in the middle of the maximum eclipse path. We may, however, see a little bit of red in the shadows of the moon, as shown above.
[TimeAndDate.com has the gory details ](https://www.timeanddate.com/eclipse/map/2026-august-28?n=%4042.19033%2C-70.81314)and visuals to see how this will look.
Partial begins Aug 27 at 10:33:54 pm
Maximum is Aug 28 at 12:12:53 am
Partial ends Aug 28 at 1:51:59 am
We will be setting up 45 minutes prior to the start of the show. Location will be announced later.
Here's what you need to bring: a long lens (400-600 mm full frame), tripod, intervalometer, a sky tracker if you have one. You can also bring a second camera with wide angle lens for the landscape and to potentially create a timelapse.
