17:40 Measuring the Urban Environment, can lockdown be quantified using open data sets?
Summary: Using Machine Learning and publicly available datasets, can we quantify lockdown in high density urban areas.
In this work we are using TFL JamCams to detect and count people over the last 90 days to question if these data sets match up to restrictions in movement of people.
Further questions to answer, how does the infection rate and hospitalisation rate correlate to these numbers and can we create a ’sensor’ to guide policy?
