Summary:

Welcome to our THIRD gathering as the Atlanta Google Cloud Meetup Group on April 20, 2023: 3-6pm EST → Content starts at 4pm. These meetups will line up on a rotating Thursday of the month - depending on other commitments - Google is putting together a lot of great events this year, and we realized we had to swap between second and third Thursdays vs. having a set one.

Yes, I know we took a good long break - Not going to lie, the all-around-the-techsphere-mass-layoffs and general tech spirit took a downturn recently, affecting not only the Meetup hosts, but our members as well. We took some deep breaths, cried, regrouped, and realized we kinda need our community back. I don’t know about you but I look forward to these nerdy-tech-fun gatherings in my hometown of Atlanta, and can’t wait to catch up with you all!

As far as content goes, FIRST, we will be opening it up to the group for General Certification Discussion starting at 4pm EST - We want to hear your experiences with certs -even non-Googley ones- and which ones you’re studying for now, OR EVEN…Why you aren’t getting certs and what you’re doing instead.

Next, NJ, Diksha and Kate are going to share their WHYs for certifications and NJ is going to lead a presentation on the one to get you started: Google Cloud Digital Leader.

Hope to see ya’ll there April 20th for our THIRD get-together at the Google Midtown Office.
