What we're about

Gold Coast Techspace is physical place where people can go a hack around with technology and unleashing your inner maker. Whether it be Software, Hardware, Robotics, 3D Printing, Green Technology or anything else that takes your fancy - this is the place where you we can come together, make friends, get projects off the ground and learn from each other in a collaborative, non-exclusive environment.

The space is located on the sunny Gold Coast, Australia - in Mudgeeraba.

More information is on the group's main website: http://gctechspace.org

Our main discussion space is http://slack.com where there are about 200 members all sharing their ideas, projects and helping each other out for mutual benefit.

KidHack: Arduino Electronics, Robotics & More

Gold Coast TechSpace Mudgeeraba

A$15.00

UPDATE: Please purchase your entry ticket at our new KidHack website located here: https://gctechspace.org/kidhack/ The session running every 2 weeks was originally a Minecraft LAN party - but this has now expanded into a richer "KidHack" club. $15 entry - Booking via our GCTechspace website is essential For those that may be participating in our Discovery workshops during the holidays we have opened up the TechSpace for kids that want to drop in and work on their projects during this time. This is generally self-paced but TechSpace mentors will be around to help you with any problems you might have. Some things you might want to work on: • Arduino Projects • Robotics using GCDuino and MiniMoto • Soldering (older kids only) Cost is $15 each (you must pre-book on gctechspace.org to attend).

Regular Wednesday Open Hack.

Location visible to members

This is our main weekly meeting for TechSpace members and guests to work on their projects or come learn a new skill. This meeting is open to guests. To become a full TechSpace member please see our separate Membership page (https://gctechspace.org/members/) on the gctechspace.org website. It is not a talk fest: members are usually working on projects, either alone, working with someone else, or demoing something to the group. If there is a theme for the week, someone in the group might go off to the side and present something or lead a study group. This meeting is open to all, but if you have already been to TechSpace a few times though, it's good etiquette to apply to be a member. Please refer to "Membership" Web page (https://gctechspace.org/members/) for more details.
