Anyone keen? The market date for 20th April is postponed indefinitely at this point, so no clashes.

Subject: International Space Apps Challenge - Brisbane

Dear Hacker Space Brisbane,

My name is Stratos and I am helping to coordinate at Brisbane site for the International Space Apps Challenge at The Cube, QUT, Gardens Point. The Cube is a brand new science centre with one of the world's largest digital interactive learning and display spaces dedicated to providing inspiring, explorative and participatory experience.

The International Space Apps Challenge ( was envisaged to exemplify the principles of transparency, participation and collaboration by utilising open data, supplied through NASA missions and technology, as well as other, open repositories. Over a 48 hour period, participants will collaborate with a goal of producing relevant, open-source solutions, to address global needs applicable to both life on Earth, and life in space.

This year the event will take place on Saturday and Sunday, 20-21 April.

I am writing to inform you and your members of this activity, and encourage you to come along and participate in this event. The event welcomes all participants with all types of skill-sets including coding, developing, designing, creating ideas, and engineering.

Given that there are expected to be many different people with varying levels of skills, I would be very much interested if Hacker Space Brisbane would be interested in providing an "Expert" at the event. It would be great to have a number of individuals available to other participants to provide guidance on solving problems. In return, I would be very happy to have Hacker Space Brisbane logos and information available to participants and displayed on promotional material.

It would be fantastic to have this group represented at this event.

Please feel free to contact me at [address removed] or on [masked]

Kind Regards,
