🎯 Trip Highlights:
- Mini-guided (by me) tour of Westerplatte (incl. Ferry Point, the Westerplatte Monument, the beach, the Battlefield Museum/Tourist Info with free entry – opened in May this year- with a viewing terrace overlooking the beach)
- time to relax, reflect, chat over tea/coffee/ice cream; there are few small food and souvenir trucks along the way and a coffee shop inside the Museum; proper lunch options including fish, are served by nearby ferry terminal places
📅 Date: Saturday, July 26, 2025 (weather depending)
⏰ Time: 12pm (half-day trip) allowing us enough time to get a good sleep on Sat morning; return buses run every 15-30 min until 8pm
🚍 Meeting Point: 12pm outside KFC, Podwale Grodzkie 2c (near Gdansk Glowny PKP Station); we will then take a fast bus #606 departing from Gdansk Glowny at 12.15pm.Regular Gdansk ZTM ticket (4.80pln) can be purchased from the ticket machine, via apps or onboard via FALA.
📍 Location: Westerplatte Peninsula (half-day trip); for those who wish to travel to Westerplatte by car or bike and meet us there: we will arrive at “Przystań Żeglugi 01” bus stop at around 12:40pm so please meet us there.
