About this Event
Is your small business drowning in manual tasks? Do you know AI can help, but you aren't sure where to start?
The Small Business AI Clinic is a twice-monthly, hands-on "office hours" session designed to bridge the gap between local small businesses and the latest in Artificial Intelligence. This isn't a webinar where you just listen—it’s a lab where we build solutions together.
We focus on two high-impact areas:
Prompt Engineering: Learning how to talk to AI (Gemini, ChatGPT, Claude) to get professional-grade marketing, strategy, market analysis, industry or customer trends, etc..
Workflow Automation: Connecting your favorite tools (Email, Sheets, CRM) to AI to automate repetitive tasks and save hours of work every week.
Vibe coding: learn how to build small apps.
We would love to hear what is on your mind! Please share your thoughts via our intake form so we can tailor the Small Business AI Clinic to better support your needs. You can find the form here: https://forms.gle/sXE7wjsfw4ZbeKiv8.
If you feel a 1-on-1 session would be more helpful, just let us know and we’ll reach out to schedule a time.
How it Works (The "Clinic" Format)
The Lightning Demo (5-10 min): We start with one "Quick Win" demo showing a real-world automation you can use immediately.
The Triage: Business owners share a specific "symptom" or bottleneck they are facing.
The Lab: We build a custom prompt or automation "recipe" on the spot.
The Showcase: We wrap up by sharing one successful "cure" from the session so everyone learns.
Who Should Attend?
Small Business Owners: Bring your "messiest" spreadsheet, your most repetitive email task, or your marketing writer's block.
Developers & AI Enthusiasts: reach out to GDG Annapolis if you want to showcase your solutions and projects with an educational mindset. We are volunteers and this is not a sales call.
What to Bring
A specific problem or task you want to automate.
Access to the tools you currently use (Google Workspace, Slack, etc.).
A collaborative spirit!
Note: This is a community-run "clinic" focused on education. This is NOT a sales call. The intend is to show you how to solve your own problems. For complex, long-term implementation, business owners are encouraged to hire professional developers for follow-up projects.
