Astana Game Jam (Global Game Jam 2023)

The GGJ is the world's largest game creation event taking place around the globe boasting tens of thousands of participants (jammers) at hundreds of physical and virtual sites in over one hundred countries around the world. During our past years of COVID restrictions we were organizing it online, but now we can gather in a Hypbrid mode. You can work from the workspace of Astana IT Univercity (space is limited, so prior registration will be required) or work from home.

We start on Feb 3rd, 18:00

Day 1

6:00 PM: Start of the Jam

Introduction and theme reveal. If you don't have a team - this is when you can find one

6:30 PM: Jamming

Start working

9:00 PM: End of day 1

At this time we must leave the premises

Day 2

9:00 AM: Jamming

AITU will be open for you to start working

9:00 PM: End of day 2

At this time we must leave the premises

Day 3

9:00 AM: Jamming

AITU will be open for you to start working
We recoomend that you leave day 3 to finish the job

3:00 PM: Start uploading

We highly recommend to start uploading at 3PM. Global Game Jam servers will start lagging at this point

5:30 PM: Finish line
