What we’re about
GDG Basra [Google Developer Group - Basra] is one of technical communities in Iraq, we have some interesting conferences, competitions, and many other creative activities.
It's a technical user group for people who are interested in Google's developer technology :

- Chrome OS (http://www.google.com/chromeos/features.html) : a lightweight operating system based on Linux and Google Chrome browser
- Google App Engine (http://code.google.com/appengine/) : scalable cloud computing (Python and Java)
- Google Chrome (http://www.google.com/chrome/intl/en/more/index.html) : The browser, extensions etc
- Google Data APIs (http://code.google.com/apis/gdata/docs/directory.html) : YouTube, Google Maps, Google Map Maker, Calendar, Translator etc
- Google Search and SEO.
