GDG Boston - Google Developer's Group Boston Message Board › Google Developers Live

Google Developers Live

A former member
Google recently announced Google Developers Livehttps://developers.google.com/live/ (You'll have to scroll way down on the calendar in July to see the rest of the month, the Google I/O sessions dominate the first 2-3 screens-full.)  See also http://googledevelopers.blogspot.com/2012/06/google-developers-live-all-year-round.html

This is a chance to join office hours hangouts each week with the teams of Googlers developing various Google technologies. It's quite an awesome opportunity to ask questions, get bug reports and feature requests to somebody "on the inside", gain insights into directions Google is taking, learn about the thinking behind design decisions, ask for help with API usage, etc.

Can somebody please offer to check out Google Developers Live (you can watch past hangout archives by clicking on the events on the calendar), and give a short overview of the program at our upcoming meeting -- the Google I/O debrief on 2012-07-19 at 7pm? You could perhaps show a couple of selected snippets from archived hangouts.

Secondly: We'd also love to hear from somebody that would be willing to check out Google Developers Academy and/or Google Developers University Consortium, and give a short introduction to it at our meeting:

If you're willing to give a short informal presentation on one of these topics, please email me off-list. Thanks!

Even if you aren't able to give a talk, please check out the above resources.
