Alex Hubers
Bio: Alex Hubers is a graduate student at The University of Iowa working on his PhD in Computer Science. His research interests include strong functional programming, type theory, and programming language theory. Prior to entering his doctorate program, he worked as VP of Engineering for GetMyBoat.com, a pier-to-pier boat rental marketplace.

Apoorv Ingle
Bio: Apoorv is currently a PhD student at University of Iowa. His research interests are design and implementation of functional programming languages. Before joining University of Iowa, he completed his Master’s degree from University of Kansas and has experience as a software developer for an investment bank and e-commerce.

Jamil Gafur
Bio: Jamil is a PhD student at the University of Iowa in their Computer Science Department. His research spans multiple areas but he is currently focused on Machine Learning, Scientific Computing and distributed optimization. Previously he worked at Los Alamos National Lab after graduating with his Bachelors from CUNY Lehman College. There are on average 23 rubber ducks surrounding Jamil at any given time and one of them has a bachelor's degree in CS from CUNY Lehman College.
