Getting Started with Agents through MCP, ADK and A2A
Details
Join us for an immersive hands-on codelab where we move past the hype to build your first autonomous AI agent. In this session, we will demystify the modern agentic ecosystem—specifically MCP (Model Context Protocol), ADK (Agent Development Kit), and the A2A (Agent2Agent) Protocol.
You will go beyond theory by building a functional, cloud-deployed currency conversion agent. We will guide you through the full development lifecycle: creating local MCP servers, orchestrating them via ADK, and enabling cross-agent collaboration using the A2A standard. Whether you are a software engineer or an AI enthusiast, you will walk away with the skills to build interoperable, professional-grade agentic architectures.
Prerequisites:
A web browser and a Google Cloud project with billing enabled.
