Daniel Lee
B.Sc(Eng) in Mechatronics from UCT.
He began his career as a consultant building software for industrial processing plants on mines around the country, predominantly focussing on acid mine drainage before moving to dotModus where he now designs data pipelines for big data. His experience has expanded to meet customer demands across the globe. He is very well versed in the GCP stack and boasts expert experience with Pub/Sub, App engine Flex, Kubernetes, Compute Engine, Stackdriver, BigQuery, CloudSQL and Cloud Storage. He spends most of his time working with Apache Airflow when he is not creating connectors to get data from various sources into GCP.
Topic: Google Container Engine(GKE), using airflow as an example to show a good use case for using Google Container Engine.
