Jakob is a technologist, ml enthusiast and indie hacker from Berlin. Currently he builds generative ai solutions at Google.

Title: Agents talking to agents: Designing Agent Ecosystems with the A2A Protocol

Abstract: In 2025 everyone is talking about agents… But how many have you seen in production? Once built, they still operate in silos. Getting agents to collaborate effectively is a major challenge of agent adoption. Enter A2A: An open protocol designed to define how agents share capabilities and interact. This talk provides a developer-focused deep dive into the protocol's architecture, key message types, and practical implementation patterns. Based on a real-world application, we will discuss how A2A facilitates agent discovery, negotiation, and task execution, enabling you to build complex, collaborative systems more effectively.

Speaker 3: Jon Nordby,&nbsp;Head of Data Science, Soundsensing

Jon is a Machine Learning Engineer specialized in sensor data. He is Head of Data Science at Soundsensing, and maintainer of open-source TinyML library emlearn.

Title: Building sensors with MicroPython and on-edge machine learning with emlearn

Abstract: Did you known that (Micro)Python can scale all the way down to microcontrollers that have less than 1 MB of RAM and program memory?

Such devices can cost just a few dollars, and are widely used to measure, log, analyze and react to physical phenomena. This enables a wide range of useful and fun applications - be it for a smart home, wearables, scientific measurements, consumer products or industrial solutions.

In this talk, we will demonstrate how to get started with MicroPython on a ESP32 microcontroller. We will first show how to create a basic Internet-connected sensor node using simple analog/digital sensors.

And then we will show how to create advanced sensors that use Digital Signal Processing and Machine Learning to analyze microphone, accelerometer or camera data.
