Learn how to think, work, and build like a startup founder in just 54 thrilling hours.

Techstars Startup Weekend Loulé is an immersive, hands-on experience designed for anyone curious about entrepreneurship, innovation, and building ideas from scratch. Over the course of one intense and inspiring weekend, you’ll collaborate with passionate people, learn from experienced mentors, and experience what it’s really like to turn an idea into a startup.

This International Women’s Day edition is inclusive and open to all, while intentionally encouraging women participation, leadership, and women-driven solutions. The goal is to lower barriers, amplify diverse voices, and foster innovation that reflects different experiences. The winning team will represent the local edition in a global online pitching competition, joining other teams from around the world and showcasing their project on an international stage.

The weekend kicks off on Friday afternoon, setting the tone with energy, creativity, and connection. After introductions, participants will pitch ideas, brainstorm together, and form teams around the most promising concepts.

From Friday evening to Sunday, teams will work intensively to validate ideas, build prototypes, and shape real solutions. You’ll receive guidance from local and international mentors, take part in insightful talks, and collaborate with people from different backgrounds and skill sets.

On Sunday afternoon, teams will pitch their projects to a jury, and one team will be selected as the winner. More importantly, everyone leaves with new skills, new connections, and a renewed confidence to bring ideas to life. 🚀

Whether you already have an idea or are simply curious about the startup world, this weekend is for you.

I’ve always been passionate about overcoming challenges. Building products is exciting, but what really drives me is tackling real-world problems head-on. Whether diving into mobile development or working in backend, every step has been about finding the right solutions and pushing myself to grow.

As my career evolved, I took on the challenge of leading teams, using the same problem-solving mindset I’ve always had. Now, as Tech Director at Dengun, I lead the product builders tech team, guiding others to overcome challenges and build great products. It’s been an incredibly rewarding journey, filled with constant learning and growth along the way.

Alongside my technical work, being part of the community has been a huge part of my growth. I’ve been fortunate to help organize events with Flutter Portugal, co-organize GDG Faro, and co-create Flutter Faro. These communities have been a source of inspiration and learning, as we work together to push the boundaries of what we can build.
