The term "AI agents" is everywhere now. What does that really mean for developers?

Join us for an deep dive into the transformative power of a few of these AI tools in a developer's workflow, specifically Gemini Code Assist, Jules, and Antigravity.

These tools are sometimes compared to a developer, intern, and manager. All of these roles can contribute to a project in different ways and not all roles should be assigned all tasks. AI agents are no different. Attendees will see what these tools can do, the best ways to use them in real projects, and what not to do. Don't miss the opportunity to stay at the forefront of technology and elevate your coding capabilities.

I’m a PhD student in Computer Science, specializing in privacy-preserving biometrics and secure AI. My research focuses on deepfake prevention and biometric security, tackling the growing challenges of identity fraud and AI-driven misinformation. Like any researcher, I’ve faced my share of setbacks—broken models, unpredictable results, and the constant search for better solutions. Every failure has been a stepping stone, pushing me to refine my approach and think more critically.

Beyond research, I’m deeply involved in the tech community through GDG Kansas City and as a Google Women Techmakers Ambassador. I’ve had the opportunity to present my work internationally, engaging in discussions that shape the future of AI ethics and privacy.

I’m here to share what I’ve learned—whether it’s navigating research challenges, building privacy-focused AI systems, or simply making sense of the ever-evolving world of technology. If I can help make someone’s journey a little easier, then it’s all worth it.
