Build with AI is GDG a community-led event series in Kraków where people of different backgrounds and experience levels learn and explore AI together.
We focus on hands-on work with Google AI technologies, helping participants prototype, build, and deploy AI-powered applications. We also look beyond development, exploring creative use cases, and the broader impact of AI.

This talk shows how Gemini and Flow are used to create visuals and videos for real projects, walking through the steps and the final results. After this demo, you’ll understand a clear, step-by-step way to create AI visuals and videos, see what these tools can and can’t do, and realize that the process is much simpler than you might think.

19:40 - Andrzej Ryl - Spec-Driven Development with AI
AI-powered coding tools promise dramatic productivity gains, yet many engineers experience the opposite: low-quality generated code, endless debugging, and a gradual loss of understanding of their own systems. This talk introduces spec-driven development using agentic coding: a practical approach that shifts the developer’s role from prompt engineer to system architect. Instead of asking AI to “write code,” developers craft comprehensive, explicit specifications that capture requirements, edge cases, architecture, dependencies, and verification criteria. These specs are then executed by AI agents, with humans retaining control through review and refinement.

Andrzej is currently Engineering Manager for SpotOn (triple US unicorn in hospitality space). He has additionally built entire tech stack for a book tracking application (2 mobile apps, backend, CMS, website). Last half year Andrzej has been building all features for this startup using specs and building more complex setups to be able to successfully use specs in enterprise-level applications.
