Build with AI Hackathon Award Ceremony

We are thrilled to invite you to the award ceremony for the Google Developer Groups Lagos #BuildwithAI Hackathon!

This hackathon, in partnership with Seerbit and GOMYCODE, empowered participants to use Google's AI tools, Gemini and Vertex AI, to solve real-world problems in areas like sustainability, finance, and education.

The award ceremony will be a chance to celebrate the creativity and innovation of the hackathon participants. We will be announcing the winners and awarding them cash prizes and the opportunity to partner with Seerbit.

The ceremony will be held on 2pm on Wednesday, May 1st, 2024.

Gbolahan Alli, GDG Lagos

Gbolahan Alli is an accomplished IT professional with a wealth of experience in delivering software solutions that meet critical business needs. With expertise in both individual contributor and leadership roles, Gbolahan has honed his skills in building scalable software solutions while leading cross-functional teams across multiple time zones.

As a certified Scrum Master and Agile methodologies enthusiast, Gbolahan has a passion for identifying inefficiencies in software development lifecycles and processes, optimizing delivery, and scaling business impact. He is adept at leveraging Scrum to drive high-performing teams and deliver value to stakeholders.

In addition to his technical acumen, Gbolahan is passionate about system design, blockchain, distributed systems, and UX. He loves engaging in discussions on these topics and is always looking to broaden his knowledge.

Jesudetan Onasanya, Design Lead

Onasanya Jesudetan is a Creative Architect with several years of experience in Marketing, Product Design; Management, Website Management, UI/UX Design, Interaction Design, and Brand Consulting.

He has gathered his wealth of experience from working on several projects across Africa and the UK; Some of his notable projects cuts across several industries and markets including E-commerce, Fashion Retail, Healthcare, and Financial Services for brands such as MallforAfrica, DHL Africa eShop, Interswitch, SheLeadsAfrica, Oldmutual to mention a few.

Before his current role at Link Commerce as a Marketing Consultant, he created meaningful experiences through design and evolved into a Certified Digital Product Manager who successfully executes UI design projects from usability case studies, wireframes, and prototypes to a fully functional web application. He has also worked with at least 15 SMEs to build digitally sustainable businesses over the last three years.

As a seasoned UI/UX Designer, he is passionate about using human-centered design certified by IDEO to create meaningful products, experiences, and services – through tech.

He is also the Creative Director at Jaydee Cassidy, a design-tech innovation hub that equips creatives with digital and creative skills to produce content and marketing solutions for individuals and enterprise companies.
