Palestra: O Potencial da IA (Inteligência Artificial)

Neste evento, vamos explorar o futuro dos sistemas energéticos através da utilização de Inteligência Artificial e controlo preditivo, de forma a melhorar a gestão de subestações de baixa tensão, especialmente em contextos onde há uma grande incidência de energia solar. A palestra, feita por Lucas Pereira, incluirá um estudo de caso baseado em dados reais de uma subestação na Ilha da Madeira, demonstrando a integração de previsões probabilísticas para otimizar sistemas de armazenamento de energia.

O evento é direcionado a profissionais e entusiastas das áreas de tecnologia, inovação, sustentabilidade e energia, oferecendo uma visão sobre as tendências que estão a moldar o futuro dos sistemas energéticos. Lucas Pereira earned his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Madeira, Portugal, in 2016. Since then, he has led the Future-Proof Energy research line at ITI/LARSyS. Since 2019, Lucas has been an Assistant Researcher at Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon.
