🗣️ From Figma to Kotlin: Automating Design Token Integration by Hans-Martin Schmargendorf

In this talk, we’ll dive into how we automated the journey from Figma design tokens to production-ready Kotlin code for Android. By organizing tokens into a tree structure and generating code with KotlinPoet, we streamline the workflow for faster, more consistent implementation. Plus, we’ll explore how the same process can generate Swift code for iOS, ensuring a unified structure across platforms with minimal effort.

🗣️ Integrating Kotlin Code into the Gradle Build Process: A Code Generation Journey by Michael Ehrmann

Join us for an exploration of integrating Kotlin code into the Gradle build process through an imaginative code generation example. The session will start with setting up a Kotlin based Gradle extension that creates a file to be compiled later along with the rest of your code. From there, we will delve into the process of setting up a Gradle plugin with custom tasks and configurations. Attendees will learn how to leverage these tools to enhance their build workflows and automate the generation of code extending and using the Gradle ecosystem. The talk is loosely based on a real world example used within our development process.

🗣️ Dessert, an AI-Powered Test Generation Plugin by Michael Solovev

AI code generation is only as good as the data it learns from. Dessert taps directly into your debugger, using real runtime data to create unit tests that actually match your code's behaviour - giving you quick coverage and real confidence.
