This is a group for anyone interested in new technologies, software development (for mobile, web, wearable, cloud, home and automotive domains), software education & training, data sciences (machine learning & AI) and entrepreneurship. All backgrounds and skill levels are welcome.
We have a simple focus: Grow awareness of emerging technologies, learn by doing, and share expertise with others in the local community. Our goal is to create actionable networking, collaboration and entrepreneurial connections for technologists and technology enthusiasts in the Greater Pittsburgh area.
We have a simple code of conduct: "Be excellent to each other". We are dedicated to providing a safe, welcoming, judgment-free space for everyone regardless of gender, race, age, religion, sexual orientation or appearance. Harassment will not be tolerated.
Our events can vary from featured talks (40-45 mins) and codelabs (90-120 mins) that provide deep dives into technology -- to tech talks (20 mins) or lightning talks (5 mins) that create awareness or share personal insights and experiences around tech. We also hope to run signature events (workshops, hackathons and study camps) to support training and entrepreneurial goals.
Note: While many of our events may focus on Google technologies, we are also committed to exploring competitive and alternative solutions that can advance our understanding of the related domains.
