Windows 10 IoT Core will power a range of intelligent, connected IoT devices.In this session we'll explore how to build solutions and rich capabilities on a variety of devices running Windows 10 IoT Core including Raspberry Pi 3.

Connected Hardware 101 - (Uri Shaked)

The internet of things is powered by connected hardware. It is powered by technologies such as WiFi, Bluetooth, GSM, each has different properties and is useful in different scenarios. In this talk, you will see several live demos - including a smart bulb, a simon game and a dancing robot. We will analyze each demo, discuss the different hardware and connectivity choices, and learn throughout the process. Be prepared to ask a lot of questions - it is going to be interactive!

Uri Shaked is a Google Developer Expert for Web Technologies. He regularly writes about Web and IoT related technologies in his medium blog, and speaks about these topics in conferences and meetup around the world. Among his interests are reverse engineering, hardware hacking, building 3d-printed robots and games, playing music and Salsa dancing
