Title: Burn Your Code: Feature Files as the Ultimate AI Agent Prompt

Abstract:

We are at a pivotal moment: Software development is evolving from manual craftsmanship to AI orchestration. But as "Vibe Coding" becomes the new hype, we face a critical challenge: How do we move beyond non-reproducible chat histories toward engineered precision? How do we ensure AI builds exactly what the business needs without getting lost in translation or hallucinations?

The answer lies paradoxically in a technology often dismissed as "too slow": Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).

In this talk, I will demonstrate a workflow where Gherkin Feature Files become the "Single Source of Truth" and the ultimate deterministic prompt for AI agents. We will explore the "Speed Paradox"—how the strict structure of BDD, which once slowed humans down, now provides the perfect ramp for AI to deliver at industrial scale.

We will see how a classic Red/Green cycle serves as a guardrail, allowing us to treat implementations as disposable commodities. Discover how this setup bridges the gap between stakeholders and machines, makes teams immune to turnover, and eliminates legacy code through "Forever Young" pipelines. We no longer write programs—we define behavior. The agent does the rest.
