GDG Sydney is back for our September monthly meetup hosted at Google Sydney with Android themed dev tracks.

Katie Barnett, Lead Android Engineer, Bilue & GDG Melbourne organiser.
Katie's main focus is Android app development with a keen interest in User Interface design and development. Coupled with many years of experience in Android app development with a focus on public apps for live events and media, and responsive web development experience.

Presenting: Taking Jetpack Compose Animations to the Next Level - exploring some experiments with complex Jetpack Compose animations, Custom Layouts and embracing reusability.

Kartik Arora, Consultant Engineer, Bilue & GDG Sydney organiser.
A polyglot developer, Kartik has experience of working with multiple languages and tools. He is proficient in Java and Python and familiar with programming in C, C++, Javascript, Python, C#, MATLAB and PHP. Kartik also holds an Associate Android Developer certification from Google Developers.

Presenting: Android in its teens - with Android 13 out and about, make sure your apps are ready to support it with these required changes.

How to find us: Enter from Darling Island Road. The event space is located on ground floor and is accessible from 5:30pm with drinks & food served at 6:00pm.
