Back to school with machine learning, AI, and your new favorite D&D pair
Details
The new school year is upon us, so these last days of summer are the right time to warm up your brains a little. Join us on August 28th at Mobi Lab for two short, but fabulous (just like Oleg, one of the GDG Tartu organizers) sessions about machine learning and the power of AI.
We’ll start with a session by Dav, a co-Founder at GreenflyAI, about a smarter approach to AI. Dav will talk about the pros and cons of using off-the-shelf vs. self-development solutions for machine learning.
In the battle of AutoML or AWS Comprehend and similar solutions vs. Tensorflow or PyTorch or TF-Hub and alikes which side should you choose?
Our second speaker, Dima, looks into the latest groundbreaking medical innovations driven by deep learning and evaluates their potential impact on medical practice. He will discuss the main challenges that deep learning engineers face and recent advances that have been proposed in deep learning in order to solve these.
The meetup takes place on August 28th at the Mobi Lab office (Akadeemia Street 3, 2nd floor) at 19:00. Our doors will be open from 18:30. Please let us know if you are coming and RSVP at Meetup.com so we can plan ahead.
The event is hosted and drinks are provided by our friends at Mobi Lab
Speakers
Dav Højt, a co-Founder at GreenflyAI, where they use AI to monitor and improve customer experience, would share his expertise on Machine learning on whether you are better using an off-the-shelf ML solution of should figure out how to implement one yourself.
The one and only Dmytro Fishman will explore the question of are we there yet with the AI doctors, is it ready to change healthcare as we know it and how far can we take the machine learning approaches in medicine.
