Keep the Momentum Going! 🚀

Fresh off the energy of our 2-day Build with AI Waterloo marathon? We aren't slowing down! Whether you joined us for the main event or are just looking to start your journey into the world of autonomous agents, it’s time to get hands-on.

What’s on the Agenda?
We’re starting the day by pulling back the curtain on all the exciting initiatives, workshops, and community events we have in store for GDG Waterloo this year.

Then, we are diving straight into the Model Context Protocol (MCP). If you’ve been following the latest in AI, you know that MCP is a game-changer for how LLMs interact with external data and tools. In this hands-on workshop, we will be using official Google Codelabs to:

Build an OSS MCP Server from scratch.

Deploy to Cloud Run, Google’s fully managed serverless platform.

Connect your agent to real-world data and services safely and efficiently.

Event Schedule:

10:00 AM – 10:30 AM: Registration & Coffee (Get settled in!)

10:30 AM – 10:45 AM: Welcome & Networking Game (Meet your fellow builders)
