The venue will be at University of Manitoba, 75 Chancellor's Circle, E3-270 EITC, Engineering and Information Technology Complex (EITC) - Campus Forty Garry.
Free parking is available at University of Manitoba after 4:30pm for the participants in the event. This does not include 24-hour reserved areas, restricted areas, “N” lot and the University Parkade. We recomend lots H, J, G and ALC that are close to the venue. Please find the parking map here:

Josiane holds Ph.D. in Computer Science with a focus on software engineering processes, models, and methodologies. With a keen enthusiasm for innovative technologies, research, and pedagogy, Josiane is dedicated to leveraging education as a catalyst for positive change in individuals' lives, aspirations, and accomplishments. Her extensive technical repertoire includes Java, Web development, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL among others. Furthermore, Josiane serves as a Women Techmaker (WTM) ambassador and Google Developers Group (GDG) organizer for Winnipeg.

Erica Silva, Project Manager - GDG Winnipeg / WTM Mentor

Erica is a Technology professional who has been working in Tech for the past 20 years. She has played different roles such as Project Manager, System Analyst and Software Developer.
She is a big fan of knowledge sharing, passionate about technology, and loves volunteering and helping her community. Currently, Erica is the Winnipeg organizer of Women Techmakers (WTM) and Google Developer Group (GDG). She also helps the Brazilian community. She is the President of the Brazilian Citizenship Council in Winnipeg (CCBW) and Board Member Director of the Brazilian Association in Winnipeg (BRASIW).

Edwin Ajong, GDG Winnipeg

I’m a web developer. I spend my whole day, practically every day, experimenting with HTML, CSS,
JavaScript, TypeScript and related frameworks/libraries (ranging from React in the frontend to Express
in the backend). I also build mobile apps with React Native. I’m an agile learner and I enjoy work that
challenges me to learn something new and stretch in a different direction. I do my best to stay on top of
changes in the state of the art so that I can meet challenges with tools well suited to the job at hand

Lysandra Lima, Project Analyst

Lysandra holds a Bachelor degree in Administration majoring in Business and postgraduate in System Analysis. She has formal training and experience in project management, quality assurance, process improvement and business analysis, in the areas of health care, tourism, finance and technology. She's proficient, highly motivated, and loves challenges & teamwork. In addition, she has a high level of commitment with the results. She an organizer and member of the Brazil Citizenship Council in Winnipeg as well as a Google Developers Group Winnipeg Organizer. Currently, Lysandra is a Project Manager at Sicoob where she works on several software development projects in the banking and cooperative segments. Lysandra's hobbies are jogging, playing volleyball, and watching movies. Moreover, she loves spending time with her family and friends; and learning & sharing knowledge and experiences.
