Big Data: Powering Innovation with GCP

The first speaker to be announced is Adhish Panta, Senior Cloud Engineer at Kasna!

Presenting on 'Blending Multimodal Big Data in GCP'. Data can come in different forms & channels. GCP products & services make it easy to intuitively blend bulk, real-time and intermittent data with minimal coding. In this talk, we look at leveraging fully managed products on GCP to perform ETL on big data from different channels with a unified pipeline using Dataflow. We will finish by exploring a no-pipeline approach to look at the easiest way to process big data at scale.

Followed by Asuka Laing, Data Analytics Customer Engineer, Digital Natives, presenting on 'Google Cloud Data Monetization with Looker'.

Data monetization is the process of extracting value from data and generating revenue from it. Looker is a business intelligence and data analytics platform from Google Cloud that powers many data experiences and applications. In this talk, we will explore some monetization strategies powered by the Looker Platform.
