Good Day Good Eaters,

I just wanted to take a moment to wish all of you a very happy and joyous Holiday season and hope that the New Year (if we are still here…lol) brings you much peace and love.  Good Eats and Meets, aka GEAM has been very happy to be a part of each and every one of your lives in some way or another. By joining us at our wide range of events, we hope that you had good times, made some great new friends, enjoyed yummy cuisine and thirst quenching libations. There is so much to see and do in our cities, we just love being a facilitator for sharing the local goodness and wonder to the happenings going on in the city. Our intention is to do that and so much more for 2013.  For that to happen, we need you to do a few things…

Stay Active-check the calendar, make sure to show up for your RSVP’s, do not be a No-Show.  We have a "3 strike and you are out" policy and expect every one to respect it.

Give Us Suggestions-I have the calendar open to anybody to add suggestions to the board.  Know a cool festival or event, please add it.

Join In the Fun-We are always looking and needing folks to assist on the organizing side of GEAM.  We love to have hosts at all our events and with the numbers of events that we have on the calendar (we are the most active Meetup group in the city) we could really use some more folks.  Most of the time, it just means being there and being our host. Our Brand New Layout and Logo-As you may have noticed, we now have a BRAND NEW layout and Logo for the group.  It has been my intention to have Good Eats and Meets (GEAM) be consistent across all our cities as we are now in 6 cities-Atlanta, Charlotte, Columbia, Greenville, Miami and Washington DC.  We have worked hard to have a very visually appealing logo and one that can be recognized from afar. Charlotte was our roll out city and we have gotten very high praises for the new logo and layout. We are very excited for 2013 and all the yummy food and drink goodness to come.
