This is a new class for Spring 2012. Former students are welcome to join for a semester of new readings!

Poetry Madness, oral poetry and story, character interviews, group and individual writing projects, and classic and contemporary literature are a few of the things we will explore in class. Students will learn how to analyze literature, how to write creatively, and how to write essays. Readings include a plethora of poetry, a play, classic short stories, non-fiction selections, and novels. No textbook required. All novels are readily accessible from the local library.
