Kite Day!

As our classes are winding down, let's have a kite day to celebrate the beginning of summer!
Saturday, May 26, Noon-4pm
The beach at Ocean & 54th Pl, Long Beach (on the ocean side).
I never know the name of this area. The Peninsula, BayShore, Belmont Shore? :-) There should be a map above, but just in case, click here (http://www.google.com/maps?q=Intersection+of+54th+and+Ocean%2C+5400+Ocean+Blvd+Long+Beach+CA+90810).
Bring your lunch, quarters for parking (although you might find free street parking), and kites! Maybe the sand dunes will still be up.

Directions from PCH & Westminster/2nd St.:
Travel west along 2nd Street towards Belmont Shore, turn left on Bayshore, turn left on 54th Pl., cross Ocean and go into parking lot.
