Code Carrots is Geek Girls Carrots' free weekly coding workshop, where participants bring laptops and ideas and we provide mentors.
Over the course of 7 weeks, participants and mentors will work in small teams to develop and produce a project of their choosing.
Geek Girls Carrots will facilitate the formation of teams, provide project ideas when necessary, a framework for setting goals, and mentors. Every week, there will be a short discussion about progress for each team, collective problem-solving, and of course you’ll work on your project with your team and mentors. We will have a few workshops on topics like Git, project design, and public speaking.
Geek Girls Carrots will host a Demo Day at the end of the cycle to showcase the participants' projects.
