Code Carrots 2015 information session

Details
Code Carrots is Geek Girls Carrots' free weekly coding workshop, where participants bring laptops and ideas and we provide mentors.
We are launching a new format for Code Carrots where participants will work in teams of up to 4 people to complete a project in 6 weeks.
Geek Girls Carrots will facilitate the formation of teams, provide project ideas when necessary, a framework for setting goals, and mentors. Every week, there will be a short discussion about progress for each team, collective problem-solving, and of course you’ll work on your project with your team and mentors.
At the end of every 6 week session, Code Carrots members will present their project at Geek Girls Carrots meetings, which are hosted by local tech companies.
Here are the discussion topics for each week:
• Week 1: Introductions & planning your project
• Week 2: Show off your plan
• Week 3: Resolving early problems
• Week 4: Sticking to the plan
• Week 5: Learning from everyone’s mistakes
• Week 6: Showing off your final product
In order to ensure that every team has a mentor, registration is required in order to attend.
You can register here (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/19XWhwgeHecf74Dqh6EPk8enM3c3PleU-9xh78oh5rIQ/viewform).
If you are interested in attending or would like more information, please come to a short information session Tuesday January 13th from 7-8pm.
The workshops will start Tuesday January 20th and will run from 7-9pm.
