Fate:Core - Episodic Space Adventure!

Please excuse the place and time, these are placeholders and it is a bit more flexible! It will, however, be an in person game, hosted in the Gulfport/Biloxi area (near the JD MGCCC campus).

In my own words, Fate:Core is (one of) THE most versatile story-telling ttrpg system in the entire multiverse. You can create any kind of universe with it, from a fantasy to an intergalactic adventure. It also has a HUGE focus on collaboration! We will be building characters and THE WORLD together.
The only thing set in stone at this point (although I'm very flexible!) is the THEME which is: Episodic Space Adventure! I think it will be a load of fun! The idea will be that the 3 daring adventurers who sign up for this journey will be the crew of a space faring vessel. Will you be smugglers? Pirates? Scavengers? A scientific vessel or an exploratory one? Will you work for the government, a corporation, a mob? That is all up to you, and we will work together to figure it out!
The world is built around the characters, and you can create practically any character imaginable! If you want to be a tentacle alien, a space wizard, or a knight with a laser sword. (Or just a female engineer with a giant wrench. <3 <--- my personal pick.) You can be! The limit is your imagination, and since we will be working collaboratively, we'll iron out any wrinkles together, in a way that is fun for everyone!
The plan would be to meet once every 2 weeks (we might boost it up to weekly if we can, but this will be my first time dming and I want everything to be perfect!)
Following the theme, I would try to make the missions short and only last one session. At the end of every session/mission, you would receive (as a group) 3-4 possible missions to follow up on, and you could choose which you would like to follow up on. I would then prepare that mission for the next meeting!
Example Missions:
Investigate Signs of Life on X Planet
Bring in a wanted criminal
Find a missing person in a huge planet city
Salvage the wreckage of a mysterious ship
Find a lost artifact

Of course there would be an overarching plot that would eventually develop, but I will leave that up to Fate to decide! XD

This is a game that works best with 3 players. I actually only need 1 more, but might be able to find a spot for up to 2. If you're interested, please let me know. I'm very excited to play!
