Hogwarts Friendship Bracelets & Deathly Hallows I

Most of us have finished our Hogwarts House scarves, but we probably won't be wearing them to the release of the second part of Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows, which opens in theatres on July 15, 2011.

http://photos4.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/8/0/2/1/event_38432801.jpeg This time, to get us psyched up and ready for the m ovie, Priya is going to show us how to make friendship bracelets in Hogwarts House colours. We'll show our true "colours" on our "sleeves" (arms, anyway!)

SUPPLIES:

Everybody should bring your own supplies.

Priya says we'll need embroidery floss/thread in the colours of your favourite house (see below), or all if you want to make a Hogwarts themed bracelet, a safety pin, scissors and tape.

DMC embroidery floss in chosen house’s colors (available at Michael's Craft Store):

Priya will show us how to make the bracelets, then while we are working we will watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1 to get us ready for part 2 next weekend.

Bring whatever project you are working on if you don't want to make a bracelet.
