The apocalypse will be televised! We're reading a darkly humorous Lit-RPG inspired by Dungeons & Dragons with a sci-fi twist.

Summary: A man. His ex-girlfriend's cat. A sadistic game show unlike anything in the universe: a dungeon crawl where survival depends on killing your prey in the most entertaining way possible.

Earth has been taken over by an alien corporation that has bulldozed the planet and transformed it into an 18-level labyrinth filled with traps, monsters, and loot. Few venture in, and once you're in, you can't get out. For Carl, it's anything but a a game.
