Inspired by the Gamers with Jobs community. This is a safe haven for those of us who grew up with games and geek culture seeking like minded friends for conversation and to grow a community.
Despite the name you do not need to have a job to join.
Most events will be gaming night events online with some in person events with time.
The main communication platform for this group is Discord as it keeps discussion clean from clutter and provides members the safety of communicating without revealing names or phone numbers.

Tabletop Simulator
·OnlineOnlineEvery Tuesday night at 7pm we meet up on Discord to play some Tabletop Simulator. I wont always be there, but that shouldn't stop the rest of you from joining. We welcome new players even if you never played any of these games before. In fact many of these games are new to all of us so it's a learning exercise for us all.
Requirements: You need Tabletop Simulator on Steam ( https://store.steampowered.com/app/286160/Tabletop_Simulator/ )
Please join on time or communicate if you are going to be late. If we already start a game and you join late you might have to wait for the next round.

Anime Meetup - Music - Bocchi The Rock
Rivonia,Edenburg, Peach Farm Close, House 2A, Sandton, ZAOur first anime event for the year is music themed and we ended up voting for Bocchi The Rock! as the show we'll be discussing. It's about a group of girls starting a band and the main character has crippling social anxiety. It's much more lighthearted than the shows we did in the past so I hope we'll see more faces.

These events are usually fun and interesting deep dives into various anime where we discuss our perspectives. Each event we pick up on things we missed and see shows that we normally wouldn't. We also discuss other things at these events and is mostly light hearted.
