Inspired by the Gamers with Jobs community. This is a safe haven for those of us who grew up with games and geek culture seeking like minded friends for conversation and to grow a community.
Despite the name you do not need to have a job to join.
Most events will be gaming night events online with some in person events with time.
The main communication platform for this group is Discord as it keeps discussion clean from clutter and provides members the safety of communicating without revealing names or phone numbers.

Geeks Lunch @ Italian Club Bedfordview
Italian Club Bedfordview, 7 Marais Road, Bedfordview, Johannesburg, ZAJoin us for lunch at the Italian Club in Bedfordview. The restaurant makes the best Italian food and has a great atmosphere. We haven't had a lunch event in a while so if you are interested please RSVP as there will be limited seats.
This is a great way to meet new people while enjoying some good food.
Everyone is responsible for their own bill and at least add a 10% tip regardless of the quality of service.
