Basic How-To Creating 3d Object Designs

I will give a basic overview of what tools (software/hardware) are required to produce a successful 3d printed object! I will demonstrate the design of some simple 3d objects and show various stages of layout of a sample case for a project using open source tools. The focus of this class will be on Design and the overall process unless we can get someone with the 3d printing expertise to assist. I will be using either SketchUp or 123d Design for the design aspects of the class.

You will need to have your own laptop with the software pre-loaded if you want to follow along with the design parts of the class.
