What we’re about
We're hoping to connect a group of 40/50 somethings in the Greater Portland/mid coast area who enjoy food, drink and the outdoors. It feels like the 20-30 somethings have a lot going on and so do the retirees, so how about us?!
We are fortunate to be surrounded with nearly endless opportunities to connect in and with nature, whether it's hiking, dog walking, strolling the beach, paddle boarding, kayaking, snow shoeing, cross country skiiing, ice skating... you name it. And Portland and the surrounding area is an awesome locale for the foodies among us who love great restaurants and inspiration/ingredients for cooking. Not to mention a vibrant craft beer scene and cool cocktail spots that are ideal for socializing. If any/all of it sounds like you, come join us for some meet ups. Looking forward to getting to know you!

The Maine Outdoor Film Festival had several events in Portland last month, but they are going on tour!
Location: Memorial Park – 5 Durant Drive, Scarborough, ME 04074
Join us to see some excellent outdoor films outdoors at Memorial Park in Scarborough, ME.
Suggested donation $10 to $15, with proceeds going to Scarborough Land Trust.
Show starts at 7:30. Try to get there at least 15 minutes before start to get situated. You will want to bring your own folding chair, or a blanket to lie down on.

I have heard there is not a lot of parking at the site, but you can park at Scarborough High School, which is less than a 5 minute walk.

At past events, there have been food trucks, but I'm not sure if there will be for this event.
It also mentions "Memorial Park has an amphitheater for seating." I've never been here, so I'm not sure but bring a chair or blanket just in case.
I will try to tie a balloon to my chair, or have a sign, in case we have not met in the past.
