Music Meetup: Free Yellow Brick Road Outdoor Concert in Scarborough!

Let's meet up for some great music at the FREE Yellow Brick Road concert sponsored by the Scarborough's Community Services and the Chamber of Commerce. As you might have guessed, this is an Elton John tribute band and his music has been very much "our era."

These concerts are held outdoors on the Memorial Park lawn next to Scarborough High School. So bring camp chairs or something else to sit on and a picnic dinner if you'd like. Dress for the weather and bring bug spray. In case of rain, the town may make the call to hold the concert next door in the Scarborough High School auditorium (no picnic in this scenario).

The concerts are popular so we'll meet at 6pm sharp to find a spot to sit together and chat before the music begins at 6:30. This means arriving around 5:45ish to find parking and walk from the lots around the high school to the park/concert area. Christine will be in a white baseball cap standing by the building at the pick up/drop off area near the gazebo. If you arrive later than 6:15, you are on your own to find us in the park; look for a chair(s) with a GenX Connects sign hanging from the back. If rain moves the event to the high school, we'll meet at 6pm under the white roof at the school entrance.

• You recognize that our group is social in nature and not a forum for furthering your business.
• You understand that the Gen X Connects group of Meetup.com may take photographic, digital or video images of event participants for advertising purposes, and you hereby agree to allow this group to use those images for that purpose without expectation of privacy or remuneration.
