Live R&B and Jazz at Blue Portland Maine

Celebrate the new year with some live Jazz and R&B at Blue Portland Maine while supporting the local music scene. Slygo Road and El Malo will take the stage on Friday, Jan. 2. Doors open at 7 p.m.

***NOTE: Cover charge is pay what you can and, you are responsible for your own beverages and food.***

Slygo Road is a Portland, Maine-based rock, blues, and soul band made up of four-to-six musicians with influences ranging from the masters of blues, to Hendrix, to The Neville Brothers, and Joe Cocker.

El Malo is a 9-piece instrumental band out of Portland, Maine that plays a wide variety of Latin-influenced jazz mixed with elements of funk, punk, prog, and dance music.

I'll arrive right when the doors open to save a spot for us.
