GenX Group Hike!

Hey Everyone,

We are moving the start of the hike to 8:00 AM. We will be posting carpool information soon. It is going to be hot and sunny out there. No need to make the end of our hike a deleted scene from Mad Max. We will make sure we are doing ok and stay safe. See everyone this Sunday!

Meet: 7:30 AM at North Boulder Park. Corner of 9th St. and Dellwood Ave.

Please join us for our first summer group hike! We'll do Sanitas via the Lion's Lair Trail: https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/colorado/lions-lair-trail?u=i&sh=6qpfgn. Parking is tricky so please comment here with your phone # if you'd like to carpool. Note that there are NO DOGS ALLOWED on this trail (sorry, Snoopy!) due to the prevalence of mountain lions in the area. Future hikes will be more pup-friendly!
Wear or bring your GenXiest tshirt - we'll take group photos at the peak!

After our hike, we'll head to The Buff for some brunch to recharge. They have all the breakfast favorites and great drinks in mason jars. Perfect to fill up the glycogen after a long hike.

Note that this is considered a Moderate difficulty hike per All Trails. If you are new to CO, please be sure you feel comfortable with elevation gain, frequent weather shifts & uneven terrain. Please also make sure you pack water, snacks, clothing layers & sunscreen. (Sorry, I'm a mom.)
