In this hands-on session, you will get to see live demos of StreamSets DataOps Platform and there will be no (0) slides!

Dash Desai, Director of Platform and Technical Evangelism at StreamSets, has 18+ years of hands-on software and data engineering background. With recent experience in Big Data, Data Science, and Machine Learning, Dash applies his technical skills to help build solutions that solve business problems and surface trends that shape markets in new ways.

Dash has worked for global enterprises and tech startups in agile environments as an engineer and a solutions architect. As a Platform and Technical Evangelist, he is passionate about evaluating new ideas to help articulate how technology can address a given business problem. He also enjoys writing technical blog posts, hands-on tutorials, and conducting technical workshops.

In this discussion, I'm going to show how data scientists have used Lumada Data Catalog to accelerate data discovery and metadata tagging to secure sensitive data, infer hidden relationships, and accelerate data self-service and insights.

Bobby Rountree is a Data Scientist Enthusiast, coach, and teacher who transforms random, seemingly complex, unusable data into easily digestible, valuable insights that make positive impacts on a business’s bottom line.

Bobby has over 10 years of experience in the Information Technology industry,
having lent his expertise to a variety of major players in the data space including NASA, Hitachi, and the U.S. Departments of Agriculture and Defense. He also has his Bachelors's in Computer Science at Bowie State University, Masters in Cyber Security at UMUC, and currently pursuing his Doctorate in Data Science at Northcentral University.

His unique way of cutting through complex data and turning it into clear,
actionable takeaways has transformed the way businesses use data to streamline processes, make the most out of sales trends and increase efficiency for everyday tasks. Through workshops and courses showing businesses how to collect, mine and interpret data, Bobby’s earned the nickname “Dapper Data.”

When he’s not transforming data points into valuable business strategies, Bobby
