AI provides an unparalleled opportunity for entrepreneurship. Products that once needed a funded team and years of engineering can now be built by one determined person in a few months. That person is what we call an AI founder: someone who knows how to use AI-powered software to solve real problems, whether in business or in society.

The core skill of an AI founder is turning an idea into working AI-powered software. The goal of this workshop is to show that a non-technical person can now build AI-powered software end to end. AI-agentic tools write, run and fix the code. Your job is to know which problem to solve, what to build, and how to direct the agents clearly.

Then we’ll do it, live. We’ll go from an empty folder to a production-grade AI personal assistant. This isn’t a toy prototype or a mockup: it has real user sign-ups, a real database, and each person’s data kept private.

Why build your own assistant when Meta’s Muse and OpenAI’s dots promise to handle everything for you? Because those assistants live on someone else’s platform, under someone else’s terms. When you build your own, your confidential information stays in a database you control, and you decide which AI model sees it and what it’s allowed to do. For founders handling client, financial or strategic information, that control matters.

And the AI does real work. Type “call the accountant Friday, high priority” and the assistant creates the task. Ask how your week went and it reviews your work and tells you what’s slipping. Ask it to do something and it acts, after you confirm. You’ll watch every step: how we set up the agent before any code exists, how we direct it, where it goes wrong and how we correct it, and the moment it goes live.

You’ll learn

  • How AI-agentic tools build software, and what your role is in directing them
  • What separates a production-grade app from a demo
  • How AI features work inside a real product
  • Why defining the tech stack and product requirements up front keeps an agent on track

Who it’s for
Founders, aspiring entrepreneurs, operators and anyone who works with technical teams. No coding experience needed.
