This is an Instructional Shooting Clinic for women shooters only, age 16 and over. The clinics primary goal is to promote the Shooting sports and firearms safety, and to generate new interest in the shooting sports for women that have never experienced shooting firearms or women that are new to the shooting sports and want to find out more about the different shooting disciplines.
Participants will have the opportunity to shoot .22 caliber Rifles & Handguns in the indoor range and even try your hand at breaking some clay on the Trap field. There will also be AR style rifles and archery, as well as some higher caliber handguns on their outdoor ranges.
ITINERARY last year, 2024:
7 AM - Shooter registration
8 AM - Range Rules & Safety Instruction (mandatory)
8:40 - 1st squads to the on-deck positions (8 shooters per squad)
9 AM - on the range
12:30 - Lunch, Silent Auction, 50/50 Raffle
1:30 - on the range some more
3:30 - event ends
This 22nd annual event is Sponsored by the NRA & Hosted by the Howell Gun Club.
The clinic is FREE. Donations are accepted for their youth programs.
Preregistration starts May 1st for new/novice shooters that have not participated in a HGC hosted event before.
General Registration starts May 8th for prior WOT event attendees.
