Firearms Care & Maintenance
Details
In this class we will go over the basics of firearms maintenance. And will try to answer any questions you may have.
This class is being presented by George Metropoulos.
His interest in firearms started at about 2 and a half years of age. He was an FFL dealer for 12 years. As a child he would go hunting with his father and when we got home, under, his father’s supervision he would disassemble his guns, clean and lube them thoroughly to be ready for the next outing.
He also shoots competitively for 45 years. His main competition shotgun has over three hundred thousand rounds through it. When I was a dealer, a very good gunsmith helped tutor him in repairs and modifications of his guns, rifles, shotguns and handguns.
He has cut down stocks for smaller people and women for rifles. He designed and made his own muzzle brakes, oversized safeties.
He doesn’t usually buy complete firearms because he prefers the challenge of putting them together himself.
George will bring his own firearms for this class. Because this is a church, and the law requires Pastor's permission to bring firearms into the building, we ask that you do not bring your own firearms to this event.
