• Dr Justine Scerri Herrera

A licensed VFA Agent, Justine’s key responsibilities include: Advising and licencing in the Virtual Financial Assets (VFA) sector such as ICOs, STOs, Custodians, Crypto Exchanges, Advising and licencing in Financial Services Sector (Such as PSP, EMIs, PIs, Banking), and advising and licencing in the Investment Services sector.

• Chris Vassallo

Chris holds an MBA from Henley Management College (Henley-on-Thames UK). In 2014, he lobbied the government of Malta to create a legal framework for the Bitcoin invention. This concept developed into the Malta National Blockchain Strategy Memorandum which was approved by the Cabinet in March 2017. He built the original team that produced this strategy and this endeavor positioned Malta as the leading global jurisdiction to develop the Decentralized Leger Technology (DLT) industry.

• Bilal EL Alamy

Graduated in Science & Business, Bilal successively held positions of Researcher in statistical physics in the laboratories of ESPCI-ParisTech, DataScientist to IRENA then Strategy Consultant at Accenture. After winning a Hackathon organised by Edmond de Rothschild, he started building a crypto-finance expertise that led him to found “EquiSafe”, a technology-enabled investment banking infrastructure to empower flexible investment in previously non liquid assets. His team is responsible for the first real estate tokenisation in Europe. He also advise various law firms to legally define technical terms related to the Blockchain to foster the ecosystem.
